FAC Failure E03

Explanation

Inverter detects that Grid frequency is beyond the normal range required by the safety country

Possible Reason

1. Safety country of Inverter is set wrong 2. Grid frequency is not stable

Solution

1. Check if safety country of the inverter is set right, if not, please change it to the right one 2. If safety country is right, then please check on inverter display if AC frequency (Fac) is within a normal range 3. If FAC failure only appear a few times and resolved soon, it should be caused by a sudden occational grid frequency unstability. Then please do not worry about this.

If everything above is well, but failure still happen, then please collect the detailed information and contact GoodWe.

Note

1. Sometimes, the inverter was installed in a remote place like in a montain area or very far away from the grid control transformer, thus always cause FAC failure;2. If the failure happens only sometimes at early morning when inverter first try to start up, then please do not worry about this. This is because when first inverter try to start up and try to connect to grid, there might have an instantaneous high voltage. If it goes back to normal, then means everything is OK.3. If VAC happens together with Utility Loss (E23) and FAC failure (E03), it means grid not connected well or grid power is off. Please take it as only Utility Loss case
